Zira is a joint-degree master’s student in International Development and Environmental Management at Yale University. She is the co-founder of Eden Botanical Garden, a plant nursery and urban green space in Abuja, Nigeria, where she leads strategy for plant production, sales, and community engagement. Her research focuses on strengthening organizational and project models that support community-centred conservation, ecological restoration, indigenous and local knowledge systems, and inclusive economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa.
