Dylan Rose is a first-year student in the Masters of Environmental Management program at the Yale School of Environment interested in disease ecology, nature-based climate solutions, and environmental photography and storytelling. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, focused on community ecology and fisheries research. More recently, as a member of the UC Santa Barbara Mountain Lakes Research Group, Dylan supported ongoing efforts to research disease dynamics, restore habitat, and reintroduce endangered species throughout the Sierra Nevada. Leveraging his experience in conservation biology and commitment to sustainable practices, Dylan hopes to contribute to the equitable and climate-focused management of forests.
