Mariana is a first-year PhD student at the Yale School of the Environment in the environmental and natural resource economics group. Prior to coming to Yale, she worked as a Blue Carbon Specialist for the Nature Conservancy in Virginia and as a consultant in the Ministry of Environment in Bogota, Colombia. She holds an MEM from the Yale School of the Environment and a BSc in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de los Andes.
